A little about Sri Lankan culture..

                     Culture Of Sri Lanka.

It is crystal clear that Asian countries have valuable bizarre cultures. Sri Lanka is a South Asian country as everyone knows. It has an extremely great culture, and lovely hospitality spread over a wide range.

In my point of view, Sri Lankan culture can be divided into several parts; Some of them are music, dancing, religion, customs (sirith wirith), etc.

It is not a secret that Sri Lanka is a Buddhist country.

Apart from Buddhism, there are many other religions such as Catholicism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, etc. Buddhism is the major religion followed in Sri Lanka, with 70.2% of the population identifying as Buddhist. Of the remaining Sri Lankan population, 12.6% identify as Hindu, 9.7% identify as Muslim and 6.1% identify as Christian. Because of being a Buddhist country, Sri Lanka has a striking proud history.

Buddhist people used to go to temples, and pilgrimages and worship Lord Buddha.

Buddhism is the major religion in Sri Lanka for a very long time.

Lord Buddha came to Sri Lanka thrice. Buddhist people celebrate Sinhala and Tamil new year in April. Then they celebrate Vesak in May.

As I know those two are like the main celebrations. Buddhists in Sri Lanka follow the Dhamma, the teachings of Lord Buddha. Pilgrims seek enlightenment as well as wisdom through them.

Like I said before, It is worth seeing and joining Buddhist ceremonies and their celebrations. Personally, I am a Catholic person and I find Buddhist celebrations very interesting and colorful at the same time. Those are so much exciting indeed. Eye-catching fire workes, mouth-watering traditional sweets, and foods, new year games are such a purposeful obsession.

Sri Lanka has its own indigenous extraordinary dancing culture that runs back to thousand years. Basically, there are three main parts such as Upcountry, Low country, and Sabaragamuwa. This dancing culture has been existing for thousands of years. Creative costumes, unique dance movements, and facial expressions are an obsession. As I see these traditional dances show the historical stories. always goose-bumping.

On the other hand, they show Sri Lankan agricultural history as well. In addition to that, Sri Lankan cultural traditional dances are one of the world's oldest heritages.

Besides, those dancing styles are one of the oldest things ever that can not be defeated by any nation.

Next up is about the musical culture. Sri Lanka has a proud history. Music takes up a huge space in it. Eastern music is such a vibe.

The musical instruments that the traditional musicians used were extraordinary. That music can heal anything.

The rhythm, lyrics, the sounds we hear are really enpicable. It's so amazing that Sri Lanka has got interesting creations. I need hardly tell you that Sri Lanka got a spectacular striking nature.

Everything's on point.

Impressive culture with stupendous heritage. Splendid tradition, as well as exhilarating kind, hearted people.

This is kind of a tiny introduction to Sri Lankan culture and there are millions of things to tell apart from the things written above.
