Why English is so important?

• have you ever thought that why English is this much important?

Let's talk about it..first of all, we need to have a clear idea about what is English and why we need it.

English is the most popular language in the world. most of people use English as their native language.in other words, english is the key to the world.it is true that there are hundreds of countries, and islands in this world. therefore people have their own native languages.there are thousands of languages.many countries have endemic languages to speak...as examples : Sri Lanka is an Asian country and Sinhala is their native main language.that means Sri Lanka is the only country who speaks sinhala language. Korea is an Asian country and their native language is Korean. Japanese is the native language in Japan.Chinese is the native language of china. like wise many countries have their own native languages.they are endemis for them.

But then why do they need English?

well..actually English is the main international language & English is the language of our international communication in all areas, such as politics, science, business, tourism etc.

English is the language of entertainment. even though we have many native languages,if we need to deal with the outer world we should know English.

when we speak in our native languages other countries or other people might not understand us. because they do not understand our languages.

because they are endemic to us. so we have to have a proper language to deal with the rest of the world except us.so that language is English. if we know English we can connect with the world. we can speak with other nations. we can explore this world. we can share our thoughts.in the real sense of the word English is the most essential language.

English is the language of social media.you know that when we use the internet the language we have to use is English.when we use youtube English is the priority.when we use Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp and many more apps based on English.

USA, UK, New Zealand, and Australia are the top English-speaking countries. people from those countries can easily speak English. 

because English is their native language. speaking English is a cakewalk for them.

however all of the people cannot speak or understand English.many people face to quite bad experiences because of not knowing English.but we must learn English.we must become native English speakers. we must know that language. that could be like walking on water.but nothing is impossible.if we need to connect with the outer world we must win this challenge.

why is so hard to learn English?

we learn English in schools as a subject.we do write English subject exams in the school.but why yet we cannot speak?that is the major problem.we need practice.we need to practice what we learnt in school.eventhough we knew all the grammer rules, all 12 tenses when it comes to speaking our mind goes blank.this happens to me regulary.we cannot let this happen.

so what we can do? what are the solutions?

we can listen to English conversations. there are thousands of English learning videos on youtube.you can learn from them.and there is a special technique.stand infront of a mirror.then you can see you inside the mirror,imagine that he or she is your friend and talk. talk with the mirror.speak English infront of a mirror will help you to develop your language skills.no one laugh at you.j ust you and your mirror version.you can listen to English songs. take the lyrics and try to understand them. watch English movies with or without English subtitles. read books also will help you to learn English.

English is really beautiful and charismatic.use alternative ways. seek new techniques.be a versatile human being. be a native English speaker.it would be awesome.but bear in mind..do not forget your native language.
