MOHAN RAJ MADAWALA M ohan Raj Madawala is one of the most popular Sri Lankan authors today. He is a humble and giant personality who has thousands of fans. indeed I am also a huge fan of his books. His novels are truly amazing and excellent. According to my knowledge, he went to three schools. The first one was Isipathana College, the second was Maliyadewa College, and the last one was Ananda College, Colombo. Not only that he was selected to the University of Colombo too. He was working as a radio presenter for a quite long time at " LAK HANDA" ( ලක් හඩ). He is a creative giant who has loved writing since childhood. He has written short stories as well as novels.   A LITTLE ABOUT SRI LANKAN CUISINE. Today we are going to be exploring Sri Lankan cuisine. Sri Lanka is a perfectly balanced country. When we talk about this treasure island we cannot forget its magical cuisine. Asian countries indeed have wonderful cuisines.  Their techniques are undefeatable and unique. The taste is overwhelming. Most Sri Lankans use clay pots for cooking not only that they also use wood stoves and spoons made of coconut shells. So much environmental-friendly isn't it? Apart from that, those things increase the taste and give a mouth-watering aroma.  If I'm not wrong, the most popular food in Sri Lanka is rice & curry.  It is their main meal and the curries are way more popular than anything else except rice. Dhal curry, chicken & fish curries, coconut sambol, fried dry fish, and baby jack curry are a few of them.                       Culture Of Sri Lanka. It is crystal clear that Asian countries have valuable bizarre cultures. Sri Lanka is a South Asian country as everyone knows. It has an extremely great culture, and lovely hospitality spread over a wide range.  In my point of view, Sri Lankan culture can be divided into several parts; Some of them are music, dancing, religion, customs (sirith wirith), etc. It is not a secret that Sri Lanka is a Buddhist country. Apart from Buddhism, there are many other religions such as Catholicism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, e tc . Buddhism is the major religion followed in Sri Lanka, with 70.2% of the population identifying as Buddhist.
